You and I are not two. In the identity of form, in the origin and in the end, we are one
I am responsible for your evil and your good , for your truth and your falsehood. I can do nothing to change you now, but I can improve you by improving myself.
Newfound comet passes through Cassiopeia in the night sky. As the moon wanes next week or so, we will be able to see Yi-SWAN even better as it passes through the solar system. Read the original article.
America is an extension of Rome, which is then itself an extension of Babylon; plain and historically true. Our traditions, our law and our language are what most prominently define us as Western people. Having been separated by our Easterly counterparts some thousands of years ago, we live in front of a the backdrop of these elements, unconsciously as it were.
Every description, figure of speech and turn of phrase we use lives within the confines of our societal framework and our lingual boundaries. Equally our beliefs and holidays. Western seasonal celebrations merely disguise historical natural non-theistic cosmic homages. with the cycles of our holidays returns my reflections on such days. Why and whence they came?
Ours is an emergent universe, so shall I emerge. Without perceptions or inspiration my mind wanders through the days. Each an elliptical incantation of characters and parallel interactions, seemly mundane but all to realistic. All to very reminiscent. As if the memory of it was already in existence, long before the moment ever arose.
Some simple bike rides can stop time, a moment in a special place can be enveloped in the warmth of carnal intuition. I stop and look through the city on Pico and Santa Monica, from the West Side you can see the sun setting through the buildings, almost all the way to the horizon. It's warm, its light and awe inspiring, realizing even I am a mystery to myself.
Having been raised evangelical, new age, born-again protestant, I know first hand what the burdens of religious rigidity can do to a man's soul. There is no greater sin, than, in my mind, proffering a prejudiced theory of everything. Religions of this world, as so poignantly stated by ChogyamTrungpaRinpoche are at the 'bottom of the dirt!' Without the many sectarian theories of our universe, there would be no war; no borders, no bombs and no greed. It is the partisan efforts, through two millennia of an institutionalization of thought, which has created the chaos of the present moment.
Spending the years as I did, as a youth, unsure of reality due to the blinds of propaganda; led me to a young adulthood of respectful inquisition of the pink elephant in the theoretical room. We, as human beings, in an age of instant transference of information and seeming endless streams of information, universally lack the coherency of any type of unifying theory. Furthermore, I know not of any such topic of discussion. University offers only the most available general consensus, but curiously lacks the substance of integration. The mere existence of Science, as separate from Religion, and vice versa, nullifies the credibility of both, instantly.
Now is a very exciting time to be alive. There are so many doors opening with the help of technology, most notably in regards to travel and the internet. And in both of these a similar accessibility that is being produced; instant widespread transfer of information. It seems as though the information borders are on the fringe of null.
