The Mayan Calendar. Reputed to end in only four years.
The calendar underlines the ancient understanding of the slow cycles of the cosmos. 2012 not only represents the end of this calendric cycle, it is the time of transition out of the age of Pisces and into Aquarius. We will live to see this day come, what does it signify, and what can we learn?
The cycles of the ages is a connection between the macrocosm of the universe, and the microcosm of the bieng. How do they interact?

T he main undertaking of this website is the investigation into the seeming similarities between what exists on the macro scale and what we find in the micro. How do the revolutions of the universes in space relate to the cycles of atomic matter? The term Anthropocosmos is a term coined by this french born German speaking, painter, philosopher, esoteric Egyptologist R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz. The Temple of Man serves has his life's most prevailing work. Originally published in French under the title Le Temple de l'homme in 1957.The Anthropocosmos is an esoteric view of our universe. Mankind is somehow not situated within the universe; man is the universe. To the extent that perhaps the farther we look out into the cosmos and the deeper we delve into the microcosm the closer we investigate our own selves.
The theory of an anthropocentric universe coincides with the great year, a twenty six thousand year cycle of the equinoxes. Stories found in many cultures corroborate the possibility that life of human comes and goes with the ages of precession. And along that path the consciousness of mankind also rises and falls. Plunging global society into dark ages, like we have recorded in our currents histories, but unlike our history so far - to also lift humanity up into a much longer period of a golden age. I am also enthralled by the curiosity of even the most remote possibility that human life existed on this planet in some more evolved fashion, in the distant past. The theory is positive and uplifting, and I believe, much more inspiring than the traditional afterlife model found almost entirely across the globe today. This website was constructed to honor the research and endeavors of the many who are currently exploring ancient sites, mythical interpretations, old world theories, the occult phenomenon, alchemy and archeoastronomy. And as a way for myself to research and engage. You are invited to join in participation. Suggestions, comments and questions are always welcome and appreciated. Tags:
